Your old printer works great. The only problem is, it’s working for the ink companies.

You may not realize it, but your old printer is broken if it charges you way too much to print. You can load a KODAK ESP All-in-One Printer with both black and color cartridges for just $251. Maybe it’s time to get a printer that actually works for you instead of against you.

Save Money—No Matter How You Look at It.

On average, people print about 1500 pictures and documents every year—costing them on average $180 a year on ink. That’s a lot! But with a KODAK ESP All-in-One Printer, you can save on average $110 a year on ink2. That’s a pretty big deal. Best of all, you don’t have to compromise quality. You still get vivid color documents, sharp black text and Kodak lab-quality photos3. The only thing you don’t get is a big bill for ink. To get a better look at how much we can save you, check out the charts below.

QualityLogic Ink Yield Test Reports

QualityLogic is a provider of leading edge QA and QC test tools and services for the imaging and telecomunications industry.

Annual Cost of Ink

Eastman Kodak Company has conducted extensive quantitative and qualitative research to determine printing habits of inkjet printer users. This research determined that the average user’s annual printing behavior is as follows:
  • Photos – 150
  • BW text – 800
  • Mixed graphics – 550
KODAK All-In-One Printers are a good choice if you use your printer for:
  • Personal and photo printing
  • Home office printing
  • Invitations and cards
  • Document archiving
  • Scrapbooking
From this data, Kodak calculated the annual cost of ink of inkjet printers for the typical user by multiplying the number of pages printed in a year (based on the above printing mix) by the cost-per-page of ink of each printed page. The following graph illustrates the results of the calculations.

Three-Year Cost of Ink

Kodak research indicates that, on average, consumers keep their inkjet printers for three years. With that in mind, Kodak calculated the three-year Cost of Ink (excluding printer cost and media), extrapolating the one-year numbers, with consistent average usage, over three years. The following graph illustrates the results of those calculations.
